Identity and Web Design

Background

CEF Connect, provided by Nuveen, is a web site dedicated to closed-end funds. Formerly "ETF Connect," Nuveen wanted to change the name to reflect the current terminology (now CEF) and saw the change as an opportunity to update their site.


My contribution

To establish the identity, I developed a variety of logo options for the client to consider. The final logo was chosen and used as a basis for the site design. I also developed the tagline, "The authority on closed-end funds" to further assert CEF Connect as the premiere location for fund details. A series of interior pages and a style guide for unique elements were then developed. A third party built and launched the site.


Results

CEF Connect is now up to date with tools and information available for investors to research and track closed-end funds. CEF Connect has a cohesive identity that includes logo mark, tagline, color palette and web site design.
